We respect copyright and we expect the people using PinkLinq to do the same. We follow the notice process of the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
If your work is on PinkLinq without permission
Send a notice through support@pinklinq.com that includes all of this:
- your name and contact details: address, phone and e-mail
- what work you say was infringed, or a list if there are several
- where the material is on PinkLinq, in enough detail that we can find it, such as a company address and page
- this statement: "I have a good faith belief that this use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law."
- this statement: "The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner or authorized to act for the owner."
- your physical or electronic signature
Most of PinkLinq is private to each company, so we may need your help to find what you're reporting. A false claim can make you liable for damages, so if you aren't sure, talk to a lawyer first.
What we do
When we get a complete notice, we remove or disable the material, and tell the company or person who posted it. A notice that is missing something doesn't oblige us to act, though we may ask you to complete it.
If your content was removed
If you believe it was a mistake, or you have the right to use it, send us a counter-notice with:
- your name, address and phone number
- what was removed and where it was
- this statement: "Under penalty of perjury, I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
- this statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for my district, or for Washington, DC if I am outside the US, and I will accept service of process from the person who sent the notice."
- your physical or electronic signature
We'll send it to the person who complained. We'll put the material back in 10 to 14 business days, unless they tell us they've gone to court.
Repeat infringers
In appropriate cases we'll end the access of people or companies who repeatedly infringe.
