A cookie is a small file a website keeps in your browser. We use only the ones needed to sign you in and keep you safe, so there's no banner to click through and nothing to opt out of. If you block them, signing in stops working.
The website, pinklinq.com
Our marketing pages set no cookies of their own, and they have no analytics, advertising or social media trackers. Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a short-lived security cookie if it needs to tell people from attack traffic. The pages download fonts from Google, and Google sees your connection when they do.
The app
| Cookie | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
mt_session | Keeps you signed in. Signed, and unreadable to scripts | Up to 30 days, or shorter if your company sets it |
mt_device | Recognizes this as one of your known devices, so strangers can't lock you out and new devices can be flagged | 90 days |
mt_2fa | Remembers you've passed the first sign-in step while you enter your second one | 5 minutes |
mt_oauth | Protects the sign-in when you use Google or Microsoft | 10 minutes |
mt_signed_out | Lets the sign-in page explain why you were signed out | 10 minutes |
mt_kiosk | Marks a tablet as your store's paired kiosk | Until the kiosk is unpaired |
ct_company | Remembers which company to open when the phone app starts | 400 days |
dh_theme | Remembers your light or dark look | 1 year |
The app also keeps a few preferences in your browser's own storage, not in cookies: your language and display settings such as text size. They stay on your device.
Our staff console
__Host-pl_console and __Host-pl_console_step sign PinkLinq's own staff in to our internal console, at its own address. You won't get these unless you work here.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We don't track people across other sites, so there's nothing for a Do Not Track signal to turn off. We don't sell or share data for advertising, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request not to.
Your choices
Your browser's settings can block or delete cookies, though the app needs them to sign you in. Questions go to support@pinklinq.com.
