PinkLinq vs Connecteam: The Same Model at Half the Price

PinkLinq and Connecteam both charge per hub with the first 30 people included. Here's how prices, plans and features compare, with sources.

The short version

We make PinkLinq, so read this knowing that. Every Connecteam number below comes from its public pricing page, which we read on November 6, 2026, and the link is at the bottom.

The two apps are sold the same way. You pick a plan for each hub you need (Operations, Communications, HR & Skills). The first 30 people are included, and each person after that adds a small monthly fee. Both are free for up to 10 people. On every paid number, ours is half of what Connecteam lists.

So the decision comes down to this: do you want the lower bill, or the longer track record? Connecteam has years of customers behind it, and we're new. If that history matters most to you, it's a fair pick. If you'd rather keep the money and you're willing to try a younger product, start with us. You can test both for free.

What a real team pays

Plan names only help so much. These are monthly totals on yearly billing.

45 peopleOperations on Advanced$43.25$86.50

Over a year, that third row is a difference of more than $1,800.

What's the same

Both apps cover the same ground, because a shift team needs the same things:

They also have the same 14-day trial with no credit card, and you can buy just one hub if that's all you need.

Where Connecteam is ahead

Track record. Connecteam has been doing this for years. There are plenty of reviews to read and plenty of companies to ask. We can't offer that yet, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Android. Connecteam has phone apps on both major platforms. We don't have an Android release yet. Android staff can use PinkLinq in a phone browser, but if most of your team carries Android phones, that's a real gap today.

Depth built up over time. A product that's been sold for years has run into more edge cases than one that's just launching. If you run a large or unusual operation, test your hardest case in both apps before you decide.

What we'd point you to in PinkLinq

Clock-in rules on every plan. Connecteam's pricing page lists geofence sites starting on its Advanced plan. In PinkLinq you can require someone to be inside a store's circle on any plan, up to the number of locations your plan includes (1 on Free, 3 on Basic, 10 on Advanced, and no limit on Expert).

Clock-in that happens by itself. On Advanced and up, the iPhone app can clock people in when they reach the store and out when they leave. It only checks when the phone crosses the store's boundary, so it doesn't track anyone all day. Here's how it works.

Labor cost next to sales. The schedule shows scheduled hours and cost beside your sales, with a forecast and a goal. Days over the goal turn red, so you see the problem while you can still fix it.

A separate database for each company. Your data doesn't share a database with anyone else's, and you can export or delete it whenever you like.

Moving over

You won't be retyping your team. Export your people from Connecteam as a CSV, then upload it in PinkLinq under Users. Columns are recognized from their headers, and you see a preview before anything is saved. New people create their own PIN when they first sign in.

We'd suggest running both apps side by side for one pay period. Compare the timesheets at the end, then switch.
