Plan work on boards
Boards hold any kind of work — projects, store openings, repairs — as color-coded tasks with owners, deadlines and priorities.
- Open Boards and choose New board; pick a template or Blank board.
- Add tasks with “+ Add task” in a group. Click a cell to set the owner, status, due date or priority.
- Click a Status or Priority cell to pick a colored label; board admins edit labels and colors from the column’s menu.
- Switch to Kanban to drag tasks between statuses, or Calendar to see them on their deadlines.
- Open a task (the speech-bubble icon) to see every field and post updates; the people assigned are notified.
- Timeline shows each task as a bar from its Start date to its due date — drag a bar to move it, drag its right edge to change the end.
- Automate (board admins) adds rules such as “when Status changes to Done, move the task to Completed” or “when a task is created, assign Riley”.
- Dashboard (top of Boards) charts every board’s status, each person’s workload and the deadlines coming up.
Everyone finds the tasks assigned to them in My work — overdue first, in red — on the dashboard and in the app.
On a phone a board is a list of cards: tap Status, Owner, Due date or Priority right on the card.
